Reverse question on 08 800

I just barely picked up a 08 800 for the wife. It has a 00 700 motor in it. The reverse has not been messed with yet, anyone know what it would take to get the reverse going? Thanks in advance

you would have to replace the cdi, coil, stator, and flywheel to 2003-2005 700 stuff

And the VES motor CDIs have a different timing curve in them than the non-VES motors like you have.
