Want to share this with the SnoWest group. I'm helping Graham promote his product here on the forum. Graham is also a member on here. His call sign is Exhausted. Below is info on the Ski Doo can. I have attached pricing and pics. If you have any questions on them, please contact Graham and he can answer any question you have. Please let him know that Steelman on SnoWest sent you when you call. That way we know how it is doing on the forum. We have many happy customers on the pro section that have got the can and tried it.

From the GGB Website:

Rev-XS / XM 800R E-TEC 2013
Part No.
762-1053M

Description:
Super light weight muffler with aggressive sound when your on the throttle. Fits in the stock the location, no fuel system modifications required. Guaranteed to match or better the sleds stock performance.

Price: 273.42

Do you have DB readings? The price is right, but after Jaws Twins on my last sled I really want to avoid obnoxious exhaust. The wording in the description makes me think this might be on loud side?

Give Graham a call and he should have them. I have the ones below, but would like Graham to verify for Ski Doo.

Tested - 2012 RUSH 800

Idle 3500rpm (just before engagement)
Stock - 86 94
GGB Trail - 90 97
Mountain - 91 104

The Trail can will meet SAE J-2567. The Mountain can will not.

SAE standard test 88 decibels

*Jan. 2004 SAE J2567 stationary test overview: The sound meter microphone is placed 4 feet above the ground, inline with the exhaust outlet/center point of multiple exhaust outlets, on the side of the snowmobile toward which the exhaust is directed, 4 meters distance from the snowmobile longitudinal centerline. The operator holds the brake during the test, starts and runs the engine up to normal operating temperature, then slowly opens the throttle until a steady 3,750 to 4,000 rpm is achieved for not less than 4 seconds. The test is immediately repeated and the two readings averaged.

I just picked up the sled 2 days ago and put the can on shortly after. Have 4 miles on it from a little trail pounding. Had a check engine light cause I forgot to plug in the tube to the ECM.

Those are important. I did the same thing once on my old Cat. Did not take long.

How is the can?

The little ride I went on it sounds Awesome. It is quieter then the turbos assault I rode later that day. Has a nice tone and really isn't that bad when your on the sled.

Did you tell Graham SnoWest when you ordered. It helps us know we're they are coming from. He is also on the forum and goes as Exhausted.
