Buddy of mine just picked up a '99 powder special 144 but the seat has seen better days. SO the question is will a 1M seat fit on that chassis?? Found a good deal on one off a '04 mountain cat but doesnt wanna buy it if its not gonna fit.

I don't know for sure, but I would think it would fit as long as the '99 has the tipped up tunnel.

The tank and seat on the 99 are one piece. You can cut the plastic behind the tank and fit the seat on just use velcro on the front to hold it down.
well, i think as long as its close like yall are saying he will get it, its sorta a beater sled, but the seat is just thrashed, so it will probably be a lot better then before.

youre gonna need the tank to go with it i think. i did a king kat seat on my 1m and i need the tank because of how they fit together. i have a seat that might work for you for cheap and other 98 powder special parts if ya want pm me.
you will need the tank and seat of of any 1m or king cat. It will fit the tunnel fine but you will have to line up your plastic around the tank if using powderspecial plastic or just put on 1m/king cat plastic it will fit the bulkhead just fine.
