Nope, different pipes all together....The 2006 and 2005 engines are very different.

If you ported the 2005, then I believe you would be able to do the Y-pipe/Pipe/Can combo and get your desired result... you would need to send SLP your ECU at that point as well.

ALL SLP pipes on the 900's regardless of year require an ECU reflash.

I ran 06 SLP pipes on all my 05s BUT, the 06 pipe has a shorter snout end by the muffler so you will have to use the 06 SLP y-pipe as well.

Otherwise stick with the 05 SLP pipe with stock y-pipe.

The y pipes and pipes are different because the engine is mounted in a different location in the chassis.
The 05 forward and high - 06 back and lower.
Lots of room to play under there just need to get it to the Can/Stinger and not hit the hood up front. Mine runs best with the shorter 05 Y pipe on it and the 06 Pipe.
