I have an 02 edge 600 and i would like to gear it to top out somewhere around 80-85. Some help would be appreciated. thanks

What is in it now, and what are you at speed wise. Are Your clutches shifting out all the way? May only need to adjust the springs in the clutches.
Gear it 19/42 you will love the bottom end snap.

19/39 would put your speed in the 83 mph range at 8000 rpm. This gear set would use a 72 pitch chain. If you went to 19/42 it would put speed around 77 at 8000 rpm. You would need a 74 pitch chain for this setup. You could run 18/39 and still use 72 chain. This would produce around 80mph at 8000.
