I have a summit 154 and was wondering if a 155 polaris track would work on it or not and what the difference would be. I want to put a track on that I can cut the lugs doun to around 1.5 inches for trail riding and have found alot of cheep 155s

As long as it is a 2.86 pitch, yes...it will fit.

This if you're talking about the poo 5.1 track. And, FWIW, it kicks *** in more hardpack stuff when cut down to only 2-2.25" so don't cut her down all the way to 1.5 if you ask me! Just make sure you use scratchers in low snow conditions.

The 3 pitch should work. It's not that different than 2.86. I know the AC dealer here sells Cat tracks to more than just Cat guys.
I'd see if you could test fit it before actually pulling the trigger on it though.
