700 RMK reeds vs. 800 XCR reeds

Was wondering if the reeds from a 800 XCR will fit and work into a 700 RMK. I replaced the ones in my 800 XCR because one of the carb slides broke and broke the cage one of the reeds. My question is can i use the other 2 reeds in my 99 700 RMK.

Yes, same size. If the 700 has stuffers, just use them. I ran 800 RMK reeds in my XCR. They are just as good as V Force IIs.

As previously posted, the physical size is the same. The question is the pedal tension the same or close enough? As the RPM range of the triple is a fair margin higher, I'm guessing the reed tension (flex) will be less (may be backwards on that). I know Carbon Tech. used the tension (flex) as a selling / tuning tool.

Since you have them already it won't hurt anything to give them a go and find out.
