Very dissapointed in 2020 line-up in 600 class. Only summit that comes with a 600 engine is summit sp. and backcountry in basic model. When 600r engine came out last year they had a big hype about it but nothing in the mountain class.Would like to see a freeride or a summit x in a 600r, Would be nice to see one with better shocks and other amenities that other sleds have. What do other riders out there think about this. would like to hear your response.

Demand is not there to build a x model anymore.

Buy a left over 2019 sp and put better shocks on it and save a ton of money.

No 6 summit x is somewhat unstandable. BC xrs, x or FR is not understable. For the hottest 600 on the market, very slim pickens!

2020 Summitx 600r 146 in yellow or black = sold!

Same price as an 850 right now..
Would have to go 850 because of that

I checked the closest dealer (Elevated Powersports in Billings), and that looks about right. They've got two 600/154s at $10,700 and $10,900, one 850/154 at $10,300, and eleven 850/165s starting at $10,600. Now, the 600s both have SHOT, and as best I can tell, none of the 850s do. I'm guessing the SHOT 850s went much more quickly (for closer to MSRP) so that clouds the comparison. The 850 is definitely a better bargain if you don't mind pull start.

Pretty standard though, 600s don't get much love. It's understandable to some degree – I'm sure you'd find the 850 Summit outsells the 600 by at least 3-1 – but you'd think they could put out a 600 Summit X, or at least let you order an SP with better shocks and such. Like ak said, buy a holdover SP, then pocket the difference, or put it into upgrades.

lack of 660

I live in alaska i ride at sea level my sled right now is yamaha nytroxtx it gets me everywhere i go but at the end of the day im sore becuase its heavy.I want a lighter sled with good shocks because i ride trails once in a while and i dont have big hills and i don't need a 850 sled. I would put my money on a 600r freeride 146 right now but skidoo after their big hype on 600r engine give us squat for any options to get a good sled. So whats up with that looks like their 600r is not great as they hyped it last year

Yes a Freeride 146 600r ^^^
But can’t make it same price as a 850..

And By the time you find a SP and shock it out it would be more than a freeride?
