So I have an lt on a cr500 lt and I had the pleasure to ride an sx on a crf450 yesterday on very set up spring snow.... I have to say that set up was so manuverable it felt like I was riding my kids mini bike..... a ton less ski pressure also... it was very impressive... now if I was in the steep stuff and found something that was somewhat untracked for the season it did not like it.... so I could see it having to work 2 times harder in deep conditions... thought I would give my 2 cents.... if I won the lotto I would have both... there is that much of a difference between the 2...

Have you thought of a transplant, Put your 500 in a crf450 chassis for the light weight n maneuverability then add the SX.

I think it has less to do with my chassis and more to do with the sx.. we will see... I will ride it again back to back next weekend

The sx handles very well! The 2015 has a new track that is superior to the heavy rounded profile of the 2014 sx. I rode both back to back and the 15 gets around in soft deep stuff very well. The handling and suspension advantage of the sx models are amazing.
