If you have the mounts placed in the holes of the chassis and are then dropping the motor in with the mount attached to the bottom it should be pretty close. I have had to flex things a little bit with a pry bar but I knew it would go when I started. After you have the mounting plate on the mounts you will need to align the clutches before you tighten everything up.
I have also placed 2 mounts in the plate on the engine and the other 2 in the chassis. The ones in the engine mounting plate helped get things aligned.
