PTO Crank Seal?

Just my luck...all excited to have my clutches serviced/put new springs in and set up for 3211122 belt etc. and I notice some dark, sticky oil around the left edge of crank case by the PTO crank seal. There isn't any oil on the backside of the primary and I haven't checked for an air leak yet with starting fluid although planning to do so. Assuming there isn't an air leak.....can that crank seal leak some if the sled was tipped on it's side due to driver error (hitting drift the wrong way/almost rolling) and running for a few minutes while trying to tip back upright? Sled consistently idles at 1750rpm's and plugs look fine.....Thoughts?
