New to this site but I have been living the pain several of you have described with the 2005 900 IQ's. Broken motor mounts, excessive vibration, broken piston skirts that I caught BEFORE it tore up the motor. On the plus side, it has never left me broken down in the hills (knock on wood) in the 3,300 miles I have put on it. I ride it pretty hard but I also do my own mechanic work so I have been able to save money by doing the repairs myself.
Currently riding with a guy with a 2010 RMK PRO and that sled is impressive in climbing powder hills where the rest of us just watch him go. I am seriously looking at this sled for my next one. I think I am a Polaris fan ( have or have had 6), but if there are problems with this PRO, I may be looking elsewhere for my next sled.
2012 Cat looks interesting..............
