The lower coil brings the bar closer to track and gives it less flex as well as they are 200 grams lighter.

Dave, I didn't see those in the 2018 accessories catalog.

Are they just initially coming stock on the new 2018 Summits only or will they be available as an accessory item too?

See they still haven't changed the ice scratcher holder what a piece of sh!t they are. broke them on every sled since 15. My 850 had both clips and both scratches break within first 500 miles

So far they are on the agenda to be on the 2018 Sleds, probably will be added to catalogue in updated print. Sorry I do not have part number on them.

Bummer. I have not had any issues with mine breaking in 3 years.

I wonder if you're better off having ones that break versus ones that are so strong that when you hit something they bend your rails.

I believe he's talking about the little plastic deal that holds the scratcher up breaking not the scratcher it's self.

Correct the holder for the scratcher and On the two other 850s we have they both broke on theirs. On my personal sled I actually broke both scratchers off also... maybe I am too hard on them?

I just hook the end of the scratcher on the top of the rail. Don't even need that little stupid thing never understood why it was even there.

I did this on my 15 but after about 300 miles the scratcher started wearing into the rail so I just leave them down now.

Plus, these are reverse friendly. I don't know if the '17 ones were but I can assure you, they weren't on my RMK PRO:face-icon-small-fro
