I have a 2002 MXZ X 800 that I rebuilt about about 300mi ago and now it is very hard to pull the engine fast enough to get it to fire up, even at room temp in the shop. I have it back apart and triple checked all the measurements that the service manual gives for run-out, clearance, cumbustion chamber cc, etc.... I checked for any kind of abnormal resistance every step during reassembly. as soon as I put plugs in, it pulls harder than a "normal" engine with the throttles wide open and the exhaust off. pull the plugs and it spins fine all the parts are stock OEM except the can.
