Will putting the HO y-pipe from a 2003 or newer 800 on my 2002 make any kind of difference at all?

the angle of the dangle won't fit cause never was a ho in a zx chassis revs only

I belive what makes an H.O. is a little better porting and higher compression.

Yes, use the 03 Y-pipe, it has the doughnut gasket on the outlet and seals much better, and is replacable if it wears, I've got a couple extra, haven't had to replace first one since putting the 03 manifold on.
