Im looking to buy a 2nd sled to get my summer time buddies up into the snow and hooked on sleddin. How well do these sleds preform in the powder. Im not looking for hill climb performance as much as will these sleds get them out and back in a few feet of fresh. I have not had any experience riding these machines how do they compare to an 02 RMK.

I have a 2000 RMK 700 and in 2 feet of fresh it is a BLAST.

If you talking triple you mean the XLT and ULTRA . I have 94 XLT with a 144" track on it and i cant complain for a 600 class sled it goes well . The ultras are great but heavy with the factory triples i would get a single or aftermarket pipes for thatone

I'm ridin a '99 700 twin. Its got a pipe and can, 151 and is geared down a little and is a blast to ride. It likes to outclimb my buddies '03 800. They are defineately a fun sled to ride and will hook anybody on riding. I hope you find what youre after.
