actually

you cut the main steering link at an angle to the bar mount, so the bars are level when the skis are straight, but yes the bars are a bit different in hight when you turn but you really do not notice, and when you are laying it over iy does not even matter

Angle

I think it is about 10-15 degrees from 90, so yes, the steering shaft is about 4 inches off of center between the shock towers and dead center on the top, but you do mount the handle bars square and level with the machine when the skis are straight

Also the blue and orange sled in the posts has a REV seat and tank but he made his own steering column support also!

and one other thing,
you do have to cut some of the mag side shock tower aluminum but not a bunch, just add some support back in other places

In all seriousness... I was bombing down the trail having a good ol' time, stood up made sure the other side of the small hill was clear, hit the throttle got going about 70mph... WEEEEEEEE and for some reason the sled stood straight up, bounced off the rear rear bumper, and then went sailing into a tree.... I slid past.. I ended up stopping about 100-150ft past where the sled stopped... The sled was still airborn.. well just skimming the surface of the snow not really putting any weight down when it hit the tree. inthe second last pic near the top of the pic you can see the bottom of the hill...
