I think it'll kinda be like the MC last year when it was released. The changes don't look like much, but the riding difference will be significant. Still waiting for mine to get here.

I may be listening too hard. But at 19 seconds on the video, I hear a belt drive wine....

The 18 has a wine to it like a turbo or supercharger or something. I think it is in the new clutches with the roller bearing in the primary. I heard it right away when I started riding mine and I have also heard the same thing in some of the videos that I have watched.

I dont notice the whine so much when I am on it, but when others are riding it, you definitely hear it.

You don't happen to have a video of a stock 18 against a Dakota Performance 920 racing up a hill?

They both looked like dolphins trying to get away from an underwater fart.

I cant stop laughing from that comment!!
I will remember that one for a little while and maybe get to use your quote some day. That's the best comment I have heard in a while!

Which sled is which? That was like the weirdest drag race ever, maybe try racing them both in the same straight line?

Correct was the weirdest race ever, but in my expirenece whenever someone goes off of the side like that he is normally the one to loose because it is more distance to get back to the straight line and the 18 still took the big bore.... pretty impressive for a dyno 160hp apparently....

That video is mine. And me on the 18 on the left. 920 on the right. If we would have gone in a straight line, we would have poached tracks, and well, judging by the snow ride adventures comparison that is a very bad thing to do. The 920 had a nice smooth start, and I jumped to the left, but I did not lift. Within 200 ydsi had driven right around him. Mine is also a 153, 920 was a 162. The new cat is awesome. And it is going to be much more impressive as they get hours on the motor, and clutched. I took 3 grams out of mine this week. We shall see come the weekend.

They are awesome. Im buying one, and I wasnt planning on buying a new sled next year. You wont be dissapointed. All the changes add up. I just cant get over how f-ing good the new motor and clutch combo is. Best on the snow. Ill be putting on gripper skis and steering increase mod, and can... thats about it

I have heard a lot of good things about this new sled. Haven't rode one personally but talking to guys that have and all say it's like going from a 2" to a 3." On a side note I'm have never been impressed with the Dakota performance stuff so that video is not what I would call good running big bore vs stocker
