900

you show a ssi 900 and 950 in the info, thinking you made a typo in the top half...

We went with a 900 cc kit, 90.5 mm. We bored out several cylinders to the 950, but our last batch of production cylinders would bore through into the fuel injector port. That is a lot of extra work with welding and re-machining. So we decided to make it a 900cc package, which still rips!! Plus its a 900cc Race legal size package for Racers.

Is there anyway of using a longer stroke with these cases?
Wouldn't a few extra MM of stroke make these motors stronger yet?

We can always do the 900 big bore and turbo kit too. That is in the works as well.

That really didn't answer my question???

I haven't came across any info on anyone doing any work with longer strokes in these motors is why I'm asking.

Could it be that AC has already done this and just putting miles on it to make sure it is durable and tuned before release ;) Sure they are smart enough not to bite the hand that feeds them...

I’d bet there’s not enough room in the case for a longer stroke. Plus the expense would put you into “why” category and very few people would opt to do it.

Longer stroke = more vibration at the same RPM. Just ask Doo how hard it is to deal with that :face-icon-small-hap. Also means new connecting rods, probably needs the ports moved in the cylinder. Might require a new cylinder depending on how close the piston is running to the top right now.

I'd agree.
I'm hopefully cat has a 900cc or bigger motor in the works!
