I am thinking about purchasing an enclosed utility trailer to haul my Yeti/ktm450 snowbike and my wife's RMK 155inch 600. Do you think they will fit in a 6 x 12 trailer?

Yes, pretty easily

My buddy has a square front Mirage 6x12 and we put my M8 153 SP and his WR450 with a Timbersled LT all the time

That being said, I have a 7x14 with a 2' V nose and that give you a lot more room. I can fit two sleds as well, which I don't think you could do with a 6x12.

Go 14 much better for the little extras like gas cans gear bags etc.

You can shoe horn the 154 sleds in a 14 foot -- one forward one backwards if needed.

Ditto, the cheapest thing to do to a trailer is add length, it wont cost hardly anything for the added room.

Are you saying that a 14" trailer works out to about $14,000???

More like about $550 per foot. Right about $7,700 for a 14'+V is the price for a better enclosed trailer.

yeah, thats what I was told back when I was shopping for trailers a few years ago... shyed me away from enclosed real quick.

thats brand new, up in canada... everythings more expensive here. $1000 is a bit high though youre right. 5-700 a foot seems normal. $1000+ CAD a foot gets you into the heated and insulated fancy range.

At least down here, in USD, a 7x14 starts at $7,500 and 2' more is $500 up to the 24', it goes up $500 every two feet. Proline's are a little more than most like a Porsche costs more than a Toyota.

Not in Canada, but down here, you can get a brand new 6x14 single axle, ramp door, side door, +vee nose for $3000-3500.
Cost is only a couple hundred more from a 10' to 12' or 12' to 14'.
Add width, cost goes up significantly. Add an axle, now you're in the $5k range for a 7x14 tandem axle. 6x14 can easily fit 2 long track sleds with 1 in backwards.
Fwiw, I bought a MTI trailer from a dealer in WI last year. I only needed it for 1 X country trip, and sold it, but the quality was on par with any of the big name brands, IMO and was inexpensive compared to most other brands.
