Looking at going to New Meadows/McCall area on Thursday

As the subject states, I'll be going around sun up. I saw Brundage got a foot today so the area should be good on Thursday. If you want to meet up, let me know. Just to let you know, I'm not very experienced so I'll be looking for trails and open areas. I'll practice side-hilling too. I have an open spot on my trailer if you live around the Weiser area.

I'll take some pictures and report back.

The ride was pretty good. Got stuck a couple of times, but it was fun! I went out of the Francis Wallace parking lot first, then went to the West Face parking lot. Snow was pretty deep. The crustier base layer got the best of me a couple times, but pretty good carving.

It's nice out! I preferred the riding out of the Francis Wallace lot. Go up the trail a couple miles and it opens up. There's some hill climbs and some trees you can go through. Not too many people up there when I went.

Out of the West Face parking lot, the trail was good for the most part. There were sections with some pretty bad whoops. There were some pretty good meadows and tree riding through there.

Looks like a nice riding area, I'll have to check it out one day. Living in I.P. for the past four years, I've gotten a bit burned out with the area... I need to try something new
