I believe it when I see it!!! Got pumped to see snow on the web cam in west on Tuesday only to see that it all got rained and melted off from the warm up over night!!!!

LOL. Maybe he just gets frustrated like me when The Weather Bozos here get the forecast wrong more than they do right especially when it comes to snow.

Between a Rock and a Hard Place
Off Topic but I'm headed to West Yellowstone Mid February from Eastern Oregon and I've never snowmobiled that area. Is there an online map of the area with trails? A topo map or a forest map of some kind that I can either print or a place I can order one so I can plan where I want to go before I get there?

The forecast for IP is starting to get way gooder now. Winter storm watch. I really hope all of the negative nannies about the up coming winter are wrong!

Went out today.... Not bad, no bad at all... you probably wont need a shovel but's there's still enough out there for newb's to find a way to still get stuck. Along with the 4" we picked up yesterday, and the frequent snow showers were getting daily, it's starting to add up. With the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, Island Park will be good to go for sure next week..... :thumb:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN POCATELLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING/DRIFTING CONDITIONS...WHICH
IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM MST MONDAY. THE
WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* IMPACTS/TIMING...SNOW WILL STEADILY INCREASE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY
MORNING. SNOW QUICKLY PICKS UP WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW AT
TIMES BEGINNING IN THE AFTERNOON AND LASTING THROUGH SUNRISE
MONDAY BEFORE DECREASING. 15 TO 25 MPH WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 35
MPH ARE EXPECTED MAINLY AFFECTING ROADS AND PASSES ALONG THE
MONTANA BORDER. THIS WILL CREATE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW FOR
THOSE AREAS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND 12 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS FROM DUBOIS TO ISLAND PARK. OTHER LOCATIONS WILL SEE 5
TO 10 INCHES EXCEPT THE TETON VALLEY WHICH SHOULD ONLY SEE 4 TO
6 INCHES.
