What Is a safe egt for those suzuki 800
I have a 2016 M8000 with Silber turbo running at 6 pound on av gas at sea level.
My egt go up in the 1380 with 12:1 afr on long pull i can not hold it to long it goes up.

On all my proclimb 800 with Boondocker turbos the afrs have read 11.7-12.2 wot and the egt will climb as high as 1450 when im at 12.2 afr. So as I was told by Jared sessions go by the afr not egt but make sure your AFR gauge is calibrated. For some reason on the Proclaim chassis the egts go extremely high which is a false reading because if I went by egt my last 4 sleds would have smoked the motor. I'm pretty sure if you call around and ask a couple to tuners they will tell you the same have you asked Justin at Silber

I have 09 M8 PG. I asked the same question. Mine both start at 1150. Then climb to 1250 after about 5 seconds. Then my Mag side climbs to 1350 after another 5-10 seconds. Was very worried at first but wash and plugs look fine. I make long pulls now and don't worry. No piston damage or issues or detonation. No AFR. I tune the same way I've always tuned...make it rich enough to fall on its face and pull it back a few notches. All the EGT has done is make me worry. Some think it might actually be rich. Pistons and plugs say I have good margin...so I run it and have fun.
