has anyone clocked a good amount of time using the 509 goggle fan?

1. how long will it run when on constantly?
2. how well does it work on the "auto" feature?

mine lasted a season, couple thousand miles plus.As for the auto feature it works pretty good but you will wanna use the on setting when you are working it hard in the trees or stuck, lol:face-icon-small-coo

I have mine in Aviators.
It's not sitting dead center. Nobody can tell except me.

Need to change my batteries though.

im not sold on the goggles or the fan unit
seemed to work good the first ride last year
after that all i get is icing in the inside of the goggles
and if you touch the chrome surface on the lenz it cratches like crazy
dont know if the fan looses its power after a few uses or what
I wouldnt buy the goggles or fan again

I run my fan a LOT.
Found that upgrading to a Energizer Lithium battery kept me going for the whole season.

I had the chrome finish scratch off of mine the first ride last year, ended up wiping it all off. Emailed 509 after that and they hooked me up. Contact them about it, they have good customer service.

i agree there nice to talk to but they only would send me the same lenz that came with them
so needless to say it scratched first ride out when I wiped them clean
I did just as they tell you to but they still scratched

how did you get the chrome all off
that would be fine with me
since the lens isnt actually scratched its just the chrome film

Thing i dont get is they ice up inside even with the fan on constant

i put on my old XI's and they work fine and there 6 year old goggles
with no fan
