Clutch balancing

Has anyone done it? Is it worth it. I have a 14 m8 with the cat clutches.

--I did it with one of my 16 Team clutches....wont do it with my other sled....

--I would recommend match balancing the weights as they can be way off..

-Not sure how off the Cat clutches tended to be.

We balance clutches and have done many Arctic Cat clutches. They are out of balance by a lot. We do a balance sheet that shows the way it comes then after we balance. the AC clutches are anywhere from 40-70 lbs out of balance at 8000 RPM. That will wear the clutch out fast! let alone what not does to the crank...

What's the turn around time on getting a clutch balanced? And how much does it cost?

I sent my new Team Clutches for my 2014 M8000 to Patricks Custom Carbon. He did the clutches for my 2011 M8. It is money well spent and his turn around time is reasonable. I hope he develops a new Carbon Fiber Cover soon.
