Thanks to Michelle at Oregon Trail Sports, I got me a set of the new Klim Radius goggles today. The ones I got are the Klim Mountain DBL Smoke Gold Mirror (non polarized).

I have been using the Aviators since last year, and even got some new lenses this year, but I wanted to see how well these compared.

I do wear glasses, and I can confirm that these goggles will work with both pairs of my glasses just fine. The fit is slightly better for glasses than the Aviators are.

The case that comes with these goggles is very nice, and they seem very well built. Obviously I have not had a chance to test them with real world riding conditions, but I did want to get some real photos of these out there, and with an F4 helmet. The Aviators in the photo have green mirror rose tint lenses right now.

The only thing I wish about the Klim goggles without having a chance to use them so far is that they do not offer a rose tint option, but I am sure they will add different tints in the future. I do like the aviators a bit more though, for the ability to swap lenses alone.

Anyways, here are the pictures -

Been looking at the Klim goggles, just don't know what lenses to get for cloudy days?

Hopefully some reviews soon

Based on what I found with my Aviators last season - definitely do not get polarized lenses for cloudy days. I ended up getting a set of rose tinted lenses I plan on using most of the time, and will use my polarized smoke lenses on the sunny days - for those goggles.

I am not sure how these smoke tinted ones will work on cloudy days, but I plan to test them out as much as I can this season, to see how they compare to my aviators. I wish they offered a rose tinted set with the mirror on the outside in the klim goggles, eventually I am sure that will be an option though.

I've got the Aviators with a couple lenses, and fan.

And just purchased 2 pairs of Radius goggles... No fan

And WOW! These Radius goggles are the real deal.... I will be craigslisting my 509's now

Can't say enough good about the Radius after using them on snow

Breath can put a small amount of fog on the lens and it disapears as fast as it appeared
