Camano Island WA,
i made a straight pipe for my 1100 turbo. it adds more power for sure and gave it a nice tone, its loud but i was riding with a king cat and an m8 that both had exhaust and mine was still quiter then them. so here how i did it..

first i cut the factory pipe

get a piece of 2 inch exhaust pipe and bell out one end to fit over 2 inch od "out side diameter"

fit the pipe and cut it for length

cut off 1 of the factory support brackets to use to help support the straight pipe

weld up a bend a bracket then weld to pipe

LOOKS GOOD! Anyone else looking to switch out the exhaust I am interested in your stock can. . . I cannot bring myself to cutting my stock can apart but would like to use the bend and stuff off the stock can.

The straight pipe works very good. I was surprised when I rode it, wasn't as loud as I expected.
