The Turbo section has become this bash fest in the past season... I really don't want to see this happen this season.

Please... lets keep this thread on topic. This is not a place to bash on their products... nor talk about other competitors aftermarket offerings.. this is a "FYI" thread on this particular product.

If you want to speak about the virtues or have criticisms of this or of another mfg, please do so in another thread.

I will ask the same of the other brand FYI's I put up.
Thanks in advance

=======================================
I've been in contact with Shane Hart of HM Turbos recently and had this information to put up from him.

Shane puts a lot of work into his turbo systems and they are the choice of others like FasTrax Performance.

Look for them at the Puyallup snowshow.

MH.

HM Turbos will have both non-intercooled and water-to-air intercooled kits available.

The water to air intercoolers will be the same Consolidated system we first introduced to the market over 5 years ago with so much success. The intercooler will be separate from the air box for more efficiency. It will use its own heat exchanger in the tunnel and pump for the coldest charge temps in the industry. By doing this it will not tax the stock cooling system and the temps are much colder than the 130 degree water temps that the engine provides. Colder charge temps mean more h.p. with less boost. Providing more consistency in all snow conditions!

HM’s kit will come standard with a True Cold Air Intake system that draws cold air from the top of the stock hood for deep snow performance. We will also feature our “UHAT” technology to allow more air to the turbo in deep snow conditions, creating more consistency .

We started out last November testing the Pro on straight 91 octane pump gas not race gas. http://www.hmturbos.com/. Combinations of boost and octane levels were tested all the way into June to best tune our kits for the end user. The Pro can run from 6 to 12 psi of boost. Pump gas or race gas can be used depending elevation and boost levels.

Our fuel controller is a true plug and play system that requires no soldering or wire cutting. The latest mapping from HM Turbos has been downloaded into the 3.5 version from Dobeck which drives two auxiliary injectors mounted in an o-ring slip fit air box. This mapping makes for the best performance to date on the Pro..

HM Turbos will be running the same variable vane, self contained turbo that we have run in the past. It requires no oil tank, pump or lines. The turbo spools faster than any other turbo in the industry …meaning …no turbo lag in the trees while boondocking. The variable vanes allow the rider to adjust the turbo according to the elevation the kit is being used at.

The clutching is second to none, with adjustable primary weights standard and a custom cut helix by Team Industries.
This clutch kit provides the best backshift and most importantly longer “belt life” (@$185 a piece).

Factory Polaris riders like Emilie Moreshead, Nick Gustafson, Tyler Crockett and others ride the HM kits in the mountains and at Jackson for a reason. They work. And they deliver the best performance in class at the lowest boost levels. Our Dragon kits delivered over 245 hp @ 10 psi and the Pro will prove to be even better.

Kits will be available toward the end of October and are the most complete kits on the market. The 2012 will need to be calibrated with the new mapping and injectors coming from Polaris when we get some snow. Get the most advanced kit on the market with the Best Customer Service.

Kit pricing will be: $5,995.00 for Non-intercooled kits, $6,495.00 for Water-to- air intercooled kits *Note-All kits come with Features Below
