I'm a senior in mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota. As part of our design and manufacturing class we are doing a project where we need a mechanism that has 1. gears 2. bearing (ball or roller) and 3. significant loading and fatigue.
What I'm looking for is any version of a Diamond Drive in ANY CONDITION. I'm not looking to spend any money on this other than shipping (sent via Paypal). The thing can be completely hosed as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't even really have to be complete.
If anyone has one, knows someone who does, or has another idea for this project. I was thinking maybe use a chaincase setup if I can't find a Diamond Drive.
