It has been posted that The 2018 ER and the 2019’s have a better map/performance than the 2018’s. Can a dealer flash the 2019 map to a 2018?
Can a dealer flash a 18 using the 2019 map?

The tune/mapping is better in the 2018ER and 2019’s.
True, like 10 horse or so. I would say Cat Race Dept. or Speedwerx. Not sure what they charge, I had a couple of ECU's reflashed this summer, they were amazing at the race dept. My son's 2016 M6000 and my 2017 soon-to-be Mod SX. Cat is awesome when it comes to this.
Cat is suppose to have a new map for the 18's sometime in December is what my dealer told me.

I think it's safe to say no, seeing as even earlier silber reflashed for the alpha yielded no reverse because there are changes to the system like buttons controlling the guages. 18 would not be able to be reflashed to the 19 while working in the 18 chassis.

the 18 has different bar controls than the 19 this is why silber had to do an update to the 19 flash.

So I installed speedwerx stage 2 that has a power commander does the ecu still need to be flashed. Its an 18 m8000

Did cat ever release an updated tune for the 2018’s?
No. Early release 2018 had an update. Dealers can only flash something that is prescribed by Arctic Cat such as a service bulletin. They do no have the ability to choose and install different maps into the ECU.
