You would be wasting your money putting a snow bike kit on anything less than a 300. I wouldn't even do it on a 250 let alone a 150. With that said, if you weigh over 200-lbs I think you're wasting your money even putting it on a 300.....

Seems like a kit that has a belt drive would be a better choice than a Timbersled. Man, a CMX on a little 150 would be pretty fun.

If you have no basis for comparison, don't weigh much, and aren't riding in big mountains or deep snow, you'll probably have a blast on any kit.

Hello, mcfly?
Y’all think the adult making the post is going to be the rider?
I mean sure it’s a step up from the grom in his sig but my $ is on him riding the turbo sled and his little one on the 150!

I personally saw a 120 Moto Trax Enduro on a KTM 150. It was for a woman who probably weighed 110 before gear. Worked surprisingly well. Most of us who watched her ride that day were impressed. Just need to have realistic expectations and enjoy.

My son has the Husky TE 150 and that thing rips. I have toyed with the idea of putting my 120 Enduro kit on it, but he would rather go skiing with his buddies.

Did you ever proceed with the kit on the 150? if so what were your thoughts.... I'm on the verge of buying a riot s kit for my te150i for set-up snow days (deep days will be on the RMK). Any input would be appreciated.

I just picked up a 2018 KTM 150 XC-W for my girlfriend. I'm looking to put a Timbersled on it for the winter. Has anyone actually done it? What install kit did you use? Did you have to use any other parts or do any fabrication to make it fit? Timbersled says they don't make a kit for the 150 and have no way of confirming if any of the other kits fit. Any help would be much appreciated.

KTM are REALLY similar to each others, I would bet a kit for a 250XC-W or 300XC-W should be a direct fit for a 150XC-W.

For examples, 250-300 of various generation have the same swingarm pivot size as the 350-450-500. But the 500 engine is 10mm wider than the others. Easy to modify the spacers. All KTM full size forks from the past 12-15 years are 48mm stanchions and there is 2 or 3 axle diameter in all gen from the past 20 years. Easy to modify the spacers, again.
