Has any body got a good set up for 7 psi . I put the seven pound spring in it and all the weight on longest bolt and after around 7 seconds at wot hits rev limiter. So switched 5 pound spring better but same problem. So I got heavier bolt and is way better. But don't want run 5 psi. Have stock 17 gearing and ride at 6000 to 8000 feet. I am running 70 percent 110 fuel. All set in my clutches came with the kit.

Never heard of a Silver Turbo?? But My Silber turbo clutching that they included with the kit is spot on!! Only thing I changed was put in Sled Head Racing adjustable weights so I can make easy adjustments at sea level or up at elevation.

Your best option in this case is going to be gearing up a bit and going to ZRP or SHR ramps.

JJ what are you recommending for a starting point on the adjustable weights per psi and elevation.

Silber 850

Need a little help. Installed Silber turbo on my 2018 850 skidoo. From day one if I hold throttle open for 40 seconds it cuts out. Runs fine if i'm in and out of the throttle. Running 50% Avg Gas with 91 pump gas.. Top RMP 8000.. Running with 7 lb spring.

Thanks,

Hey Newbacon - I hit you up via PM.

This could be a number of things. If you continue to have problems, feel free to send me an email. I know its a pain, but we can plug it into BUDS and tell you exactly what is going on. If I had to bet, I'd wager your mag side injector needs to be replaced (we've seen this a number of times - 2018 only - turbo and stock). Could also be the wiring to your injectors (this has gone bad a few times) or even your belt getting so hot it starts to slip in the primary losing load on the motor (40 seconds is a huge pull).

What clutching?

Still trying to add more weight to this sled. 2017 165x3 silber @ 5 psi and around 4-6k elevation . I have zrp 90g weights, tip has 4 grams, middle has 6 grams and none on the heal (100g total if my math is right). Both clutches and belt get hot and still showing 8400rpm on max recall.

Anyone similar elevation?

I may order the 95g, they are just a pain to adjust on the hill. Any other adjustable weights that you can add weight easily. Are pivot bolt weights better then loading a tip on ZRP?

For now, drop to 5 - you'll probably be clutched pretty well. If you want to run 7 (which is totally fine) you likely will need more weight. I'm at 5 and at higher elevation running about the same weight.

Conversely, try the 200/300 spring. Excellent spring! You are probably weighted correctly for that setup...
