Engine is done, I would not run it another second without a complete teardown. Sounds like a rod bearing or wrist pin bearing failure. Possibly piston issues to go along with it. Those engines had some issues with piston skirts collapsing and cylinder skirts breaking. Keep us informed on the diagnosis.

Wow, amazed it still runs. Yes, you need to tear it down. If you continue to run it, you'll just do more damage. Likely that the engine will need to be replaced, but you might be able to salvage some of it.

So guys, here's an update.

I tore down the engine and it was a rod bearing that had seized up.

And one piston had some minor scratches on it, but they are almost new (100-150km) so i'll just replace the piston rings and acid wash the coating. The scratches aren't deep enough, you can barely feel them.

The cylinders are fine, no damage taken. That goes for the head as well.

So tonight after work, ill split the crank case to look for further damage, and tomorrow i'll have the crank shaft measured to see if it's straight or bent.

I'll keep you updated.

Rod bearing

It is very likely the the rod damaged the bottom of the engine case they can be repaired.

Yes, the crank case is damaged. Bits of aluminium has come loose and the cylinders are completely done as i have looked closer to it. And i need new pistons of course.
Right now im looking to buy a new engine because i have talked to a couple of companys that rebuilds crankshafts and cylinders and it seems that it might be cheaper to buy a whole engine.
