I noticed in some other forums a billet water pump impeller for some Polaris snowmobile engines.

Wondering if anybody offers a version for a 2014 PRO RMK 800 and if it offers any benefits besides durability over the plastic OEM version.

The billet might provide faster coolant flow sometimes they are paired with billet housing. I do know that the plastic will wallow out the drive hole if they get hot has worked on a couple sleds that had heating issues that had bad a impeller.

Just wondering..... that's all.

I have heard of instances where the oblong hole gets stripped out so the pump impeller does not turn or turns slower than it should.

Mine had a lot of play and ordered a new one.
