2.5" track, rear seat storage, Freeride type handlebars, different stickers. I have an '11 X model, but I snowchecked a '12 Pro RMK. I really liked the
E-Tec, until I spent a full day on a Pro. The Pro is just more fun to ride in my opinion.

I pulled the trigger on a 2012 summit x 154" cann't wait to get it. I'm coming off of a 05 rev 800 and just felt the need for a new sled hope they run as well as they say.:high5:

My wife is snowchecking a 2012 154 X. She is comming off a 2007 REV 144.

We took out a Polaris Pro and A 2011 etec for a day. Deep snow conditions, rode for 50 miles. Traded a few time during the beginning. Wife really like the smooth power of the etec (especially the throttle) and loved how easy it was to throw around. Wouldn't give the Etec back after the first hour. Said the Pro felt heavy on her arms. She could careless what she rides just as long as she can keep up with the guys.......which she does!

I got to ride the Pro the rest of the day. Good sled. I could get used to it. I don't like the warrenty stories I am hearing from my dealer about modded engines.

Gonna stick with my 09 XP for another year and maybe ride my wifes 2012 when she's not looking!

Test rode a Pro and an Etech back to back for a day each. Needless to say I checked a 2012 154" XP.. Did not like the Pro much, had a few good points but not nearly as good as the XP.

That's a tough one. Pimp out the ol' lady and get both.:face-icon-small-win

As for me, nope. I'm on an 09 with a couple upgrades. I'll be schoolin' the 2012 riders and can't wait.
Got an 2011 e-tec 163 x with some mods and a conveyor belt track. Be schooling my buddies turbo pooper. He gets me on my 154, tides r ah changing.

You probably need a decent driver first :face-icon-small-coo

I'm getting ready to drop my block off at the machine shop pretty soon here.

I gotta retrain myself grabbing a wheel pressin a button wooden it, 5500 rpm let go of the trans break and BAM. She's hauling the mail. Just got the converter back from ATI. New valve springs, 11 etec x 163. Had to work Sat. I'll see ya.

Is there really a huge difference in the 146 vs the 154??
Except in the really deep stuff.
Seen riders on 146 far outride 154's
imo it's the rider for the most part
What do u guys think??

If you let that same rider ride both then my bet is on the 154", other wise why make so close togather if they don't make a difference:face-icon-small-ton
