lookin at rec motors for some 120 stuff, and their kits are labeled "not for 2010"

Looking to buy a 2010 and wondered what changed, should I get an 09???

it's a real shame there isn't anything now between a 120 and a 550.

OK to answer myself and after looking at parts diagrams, it looks like 2009 was the first year for fan cooled, and 2010 switched do a different stroke and displacement.

Anyone mod a 2010 without swapping motor??

I think in 2010 they switched to a yamaha engine instead of the suzuki. and from what I have seen it is way slower in stock form then 2009 and older sleds.

too late, I already screwed up and bought one. Should have got an 09. Cat can't even tell you a part number on the right jet, had to find one the old fashioned way.

No after market parts either, kinda sux.

Oh well, just have to swap in a honda!
