Do i need lighter springs?

Hello everyone. Last year i bought a 2012 Pro 800 163. Rode it all last year and it never seemed quite right. I hopped on a 15 pro 800 155 earlier today and noticed when i pulled it up on one side i was able to bounce the rear end with the flick of my ankle. Came home and tried this with my sled and am unable to. IT also barley droops in the rear when i stand on it, and does not move much at all when i jump up and down on it. Im wondering if it had heavier springs installed at some point. It used to be a turbo sled that had quite a bit of stuff done to it, and im not sure what all was done. Does this sound like i need lighter springs, or is there an adjustment to be made? Im about 180lbs fyi. The rear most spring is about an inch from being bottomed out on adjustment.

No, a heavier spring would be thicker. I have a stock 210lb takeoff laying around in my garage somewhere, if you do have a heavy spring. I'd sell it cheap. Never used.

Likely to be the shock. The rear is easy to pull out with the skid in.

Yes, stock spring. It's white. If you tighten down on the spring, it'll increase the stiffness a bit. However, it looks like you're almost all the way loose. Do you have a calipers to measure the wire thickness?

Its only got about 1/4" till its fully loose. And yes i have calipers

It is a heavy spring. I just measured a stock one and i was .410. Mine measures .462. I will be interested in selling the springs if you want them. Or trading if you have stock ones

I have stock springs from my 2013 with clickers I'd be interested in trading. What color are yours?

If you are 180 pounds go with the 190lb/in spring. Stock is 210lb/in. Part number is from the assault rmk.
I have a used 190# spring too, if anyone is interested (I currently have them listed on eBay), but I think that spring is too light for a 180lb guy, especially for a 163. The 210# would be perfect. I currently have Carl's custom 230# spring on my 155" X3 and it rocks.

Dont forget that the front track shock plays a HUGE roll in how the sled feels and responds. a 1/4" of preload adjustment on the front track shock changes everything.
