Cooling ctec 800 vs old suzuki

Hello.

Just curious if the new 800 engine is going cooler/hotter or maby the same as the old suzuki 800. Is it easy to overheat? Where I live I have to do some trail riding till I come to the good stuff.

The one Im talking about is the mountain cat with the small cooler.

18' MC here. rode mine here in MI at end of season and the snow off trail was setup bad. overheating was an issue if we were moving slow. going down trail with scratchers it did fine.

I rode an 18 162 on the trail without scratchers down for 5 miles, drug a foot every once and a while and dipped off the side when i could, seem as good or better cooling than my 14 153x3"
