So I melted a exh side panel . Look closer and see a few small holes under heat shield on head pipe. I for the weekend flattened out a few cans to cover holes left panel off and rode the next day. No issues I'll I am going across lake, about 5~8 miles at the end I stop I got flames coming of chain case cover. Would a leaking exh cause this or should I be looking else where too? Ps when I took cover off fluid was still in chain case. .... I run a Slp can never had this issue. ....

Warmer temps in spring make these things run warm as all hell. Started off yesterday for a ride and it was 20 degrees out and towards the end of our ride it was 40+ degrees. I ended up cooking a pto side crank bearing 18 miles from home. Time for an Indy Dan crank
