I have 98 xc 700 i wanted to swap for a track with bigger lugs, just wondering how big i could go without any modifications. I found a 1.75 i wanted but just want to make sure it will fit, thank you

1.75 on an XC

I just put a 136 x 1.75 on my 1998 600 XC.

Had to go to 8 tooth Drivers. I used a Gen II skip with fox shocks.
The stock XC skid weighs a ton. I saved 10 lbs.

Only hit the cooling strips way up front.

Then an a bit of minor Knotching to get it to clear the cooler Strips.
Saw all and a pair of side cutters

If I had to do it again I bet I could have just ground the little fins off the front 2 inches of the cooling strips and it would have cleared.

Only hit by like 1/8 of a inch where the strips are.

I have no idea how the RMK Wedges cooling is set up, or maybe the bulh head chain case is diffrent.

Some on here should know.
