What is everyone planning to purchase for the 2018 Mtn Cat with respect to front bumper and skid plate?

Will the OEM offerings be the best deal for these sleds or is there a suitable aftermarket piece available?

I would definitely wait for BMfab as well. They make REALLY nice stuff.

I would save the money on the skid plate, not sure a piece of poly is gonna save you from anything but some scratches. I haven't had one for years but all they ever did for me was hold snow and ice.

Yes, some bumpers cover the front screw to remove the hood. The older bumpers may look funny because the nose is shorter on the 18.

Stopped by their booth at haydays this weekend def the front bumper id be running of I had an 18 sitting it the shop looks really durable.

All I have on my phone for right now. They both will get adjusted a little bit from these prototypes. The rear will most likely come with a snow flap so I don't have to try to deal with the stock beastly one.

Vision Bumpers

Here is another option for you. We call it our Vision bumper, which is available with our without LED headlights. We have them in both green colors too, normal cat green and the new lime green that fits the mtn cats.


-Aluminum Construction
-Uses stock mounting holes
-Available with or without LED lights.
-Tubular frames prevent snow build up behind the bumper like some do that are more enclosed.


$199 or $249 with lights.


Since the pictures, we did move the front of the bumper 1 inch closer to the hood. But it basically looks the same.

The Cat proclimb bumper that came on the limited wont work. The new belly pan plastic covers the two lower mounting points
