my 07 rmk had a head light go out so I replaced both, first time out both burned out, tail light is ok, I checked the voltage output which was 7 at engagement, there is power to the high and low beam at the bulb socket, if it is a voltage regulator will it hurt to ride this week end, engine runs same as usual,, have not used handlebar warmers

had one at work that ran for a few weeks with a vr problem. as i understand it, it can blow to the high side or low side. i'd guess mine blew to the low side because the ecu survived. that said, i certainly wouldn't chance it unless you have an extra $700 and don't mind getting towed back.
