I fought getting ice age rails after bending two set of stock rails I broke down an called them. Great people to work with and haven't had a problem since.

there are no graveyards. ive looked all over kijiji canada.. even in ontario. I wish.

ebay is the best bet.

iceage is a tad pricey for me.. itll end up being $600 CAD for iceage when im done. it was a buddy that wrecked em.. so hes paying. I told him itll prob only be 2-300 ish so trying to keep it around there or less. hes already dealing with a $2000 bottom end on his summit so im being easy on him.

I just want OEM. nothing fancy, keep the $$$ down. oem worked for the first 3500 miles.... just no more damn jumping and landing vertical like that I guess!

I found a pair from a 12 m1100 153 for $200... the guy says theyll fit. is that true? the numbers from a 12 m1100 153 parts diagram and a 13 m8 162 are different rail numbers.

is there anything else that could be bent in there? just new rails and im good to go?

153 vs 162 if your last statement is correct. If they are the same track length, seems to me the 1100s had the HCR rail brace up by the front arm. Might be the difference. 2012s had bare aluminum rails, if you want black like you have now you will need to find them off of a 2013 black limited. 2014-2015 rails are a tad shorter, 2016+ are completely different.

yeah live and learn I guess... hit it 3 times trying to get a cool pic I guess. and 3rd time was a little too hard. no biggie.

so looks like my options are slim.. they gotta be OEM. and preferrably used. not easy to find.

any leads would be greatly appreciated!!

thanks.

its all good! I really appreciate the offer otherwise.

I got super lucky this morning... I found a pair on saskatchewan kijiji!!! $230 canadian shipped to me.. thats like $175 USD for the pair! and now im going to be able to ride this weekend.

seems too good to be true... is there anything else in there that could have been damaged?

It looked like both of my rails were bent until i unbolted them. Then the one straightened. So probably nothing else bent?

How about calling a few dealers to see if they have any take-offs you can buy?

ive bought quite a few parts from you guys before!!!

the previous owner rolled this sled... literally all 12 pieces he broke you guys had in your garage sale section. damnit, didnt notice until after half the parts were installed. I think I did end up buying a few from you still!

sorry for the lack of updates. I got super lucky on this rail ordeal!! found some locally, 8 hours away on kijiji. had them paid for within the hour, and paid the guy extra go to ship them ASAFP!! got them two days later, had them installed in two hours, and were right back out the next saturday and sunday. I think they cost me $200. cheap!
