Going to be driving from MT to Alaska to do some sledding and figured we might as well hit up Revy for a day or two since it's on the way (sort of). Never been there before so thought I'd ask a few questions.

What is the main elevation for riding there? I see town is about 1500' and the surrounding peaks are 7000ish'. Leads me to believe I should clutch for 3-6000'?

Any tips for which direction to go? Both experienced riders with avy gear: one intermediate skill and one advanced.

Lastly, any of the lodging options pet friendly? Will have two dogs riding along in the truck. Would be nice to bring them in at night.

I was just out there last week rode 5 different areas, mostly staged around 2500 and rode 4500-6000. Stayed off the beaten path however, no frisby or boulder

Can I ask how the conditions were? From what I'm seeing on the reports I've found they haven't got a ton of new snow in the last week.

The area got about 10" in the last couple days but in serious need of a reload. 10" is a decent start but need a serious dump.
