It was differently hot out but that did not stop a friend and me from getting away for a few hours. Went out around 10 and got mine at about 1 but had to wait 2.5 hours for him to expire, good shot just took a little time for him to give up the fight. It's my first goat with a bow so I'm going to european mount him. Super jacked can't wait till sept 5 going out for deer and then the 22 leaving for 5 day hunt after elk, it's going to be a good season!!!!!!:face-icon-small-hap

That's a little warm to be "curing" the meat. LOL

Congrats.

We de-boned him right there on the spot so he was only dead for maybe an hour before we got back to him. Actually he didn't stink at all.

I had Antelope backstrap last night ! My brother killed a huge buck with his smoke stick. That looks to be a good one there as well! Any goat with a bow is something to be proud of !
