Any word on the track from the dealer meetings? Are they changing anything? Lots of folks with rips,tears and missing
Torn and missing lugs on G4 tracks

Who has torn or missing lugs? I can't be the only one. A bunch of guys reported this on FB 850 owners exchange.
I've actually been amazed at the abuse my track has taken with very minimal damage. I've caught a LOT of rocks and stumps and have only one split paddle.
I was thinking the same thing till I look really close this am and found several cracks and tears. Just under 500 miles, mountain riding, have not hit many things and try to keep speed down on the trail into our zones

I am not babying mine and she holds up to all my abuse on the 2.5 anyway the 3 "track definitely gets babied by my better halve so not a good comparison she usually does not hit stuff:face-icon-small-con. Me on the other hand have bend on scratcher hitting a stump and removed the other scratcher keeper ( the plastic holder Broke the bolt clear of) on a bolder with no other damage.
They need to look closer. I thought the same thing. No missing paddles yet, but I have a few that are cracked near base of paddle and few torn almost in half. Not saying it's not my fault, you are correct that the track works awesome, it just sucks that I guess can't have the durability of the XM T3 track with the light weight of the Gen 4

Mines done, it tore the nub off the inside of the track, then took it for one more ride and it ripped right through.
I just looked close at mine. I have 1/2 a lug missing with a bunch of them split all the way. Looks like it's on its last leg. 1,300 miles on it.

Brutal!:face-icon-small-fro Let us know if you have any trouble getting warranty with it being a turbo??
I don't think it being a turbo makes much difference. Almost guarantee you skidoo will say the tracks are a wear item and was damaged due to abuse/hitting something = no warranty.
Are all you guys finding ripped paddles running 3" tracks? Is the same thing happening with the 2.5" as well?

Forget about my earlier post just ripped of halve paddle on my 2.5. trimmed of the rough edges with my weatherman and this stuff cuts like butter definitely a different compound track. **** happens , but I will keep an eye on it for now.

I have a lug missing on mine. Unfortunately with these lighter tracks, they don't hold up to the abuse. But to me I would rather have the performance, this track is a beast on the snow.

Before the weekend, I had 11 rippeds lugs on a soft 1000 km rides.
165x 3 inchs track.
Never had any lug problem on my previous sleds.
I had a good week end we got 3 feets of fresh POW and I was able to ride the gen4 hard for the first time. Ill take a closer look to the track tomorrow.

If you had to put a new track on your sled what would you go with? I really don't want to replace my track every season.

Are there any options in 3.5 besides stock??
Hard to argue the performance. Don't want to loose that.
Less paddles + more Hp = more force on every paddle:face-icon-small-dis unless they are tougher they will have more issues.
