Am in need of a new primary and secondary and cannot handle the price of new ones so looking in the swapmeets. My question is I have the updated 32mm crank and wondering if all the newer 600/800's have the 32mm taper or do they have different sizes also? If not what model years have the 32mm taper.

Think I would call Indydan on that Question. He might have the clutch you need too.

Thanks Z-man, Was hoping an 800 32mm would work also since they were also 32mm tapers as the updated crank. All I found different on the online parts microfiche was the spacers behind the spider for shimming and was hoping they would work. There are a few 800 clutches in the swapmeet for a good price. Just cannot spend the big bucks right now for new primary and secondary.

BTW think that search you did was for the original size taper? I have the updated crank and clutch and looking if the 32mm from the '09 and up will work.

Nope, that is for the large taper primary for use with the updated crank. Those are the machines that use the exact same primary, but that doesn't mean that the new 800 one will not fit too. It may only be different because of the spacers you are talking about, but these are probably in there so that the 1115 belt works. Best bet is still to contact indydan and see what he says.

i have a used TSS-98 and a TSS-04 secondary i can sell you if your interested too ;)

Lucky boy. Your going to have a wonderful time this Sunday. Love the Thunderstruck films. Make sure you take a lot of pics and post them up.

PM me with the details on the TSS-98. I actually haven't looked @ my secondary yet but am assuming it is in same shape as primary. Ended up getting a big hole on the fender and had to ride it a long way and it got a lot of snow on the belt. Now the clutch faces aren't smooth anymore so will most likely need the TSS-98 also.

I thought the P-85 fit all the RMK (not sure about trail sleds) sleds but some required different spacers. I see that someone posted different part numbers but keep in mind Polaris is huge with superseding part numbers as new sleds come out.

So the original 900 primary cluch is a 30mm taper, the same as the big block 2000 thru 2005 800? And also bb 6/700 as well?

But can't the P-85 be used on all of them? Or is it a different clutch for each taper?
