The '98 was a sweet sled when setup well. A legend in my mind. I still get excited when I see a clean one.

Well fordman, here you go....... Sold it to a friend a couple years ago.
First pic was when it was in my driveway, still looks the same. A few SLP goodies and a 2 x 144 track, otherwise stock.
2nd pic was the other day when we were out burnin gas. (yah I had to get my Pro in there). Actually lost him for a bit, but tracked him down listening for that distinct exhaust tone. The old girl still running strong.

Im liking the various reviews! Im looking for a really good (not to expensive) ditchbanger sled and i was curious whether theres other ditchbanger sleds in 97-98 with the 700 engine, just because id like to have a trail sled, not the RMK package.

bone stock, i dont think you could beat a 99 700 w/ optional 2" track.
few mods, i like the 97 700 best.
full on mod, 97 ultra with 800 kit and the whole 9 yards...

97-98 700 RMK and 98 600 RMK are the best wedge sleds. They last forever and had great power all through power band. Best part was you could put a 700 top on a 600 and stomp all 600's out there. (In the late 90's of course.) I fooled all of my buddies with that one!
