I have a 2012 pro 155, with a Pa 13.6 head 5-9000 ft and am going to use carl cycle helix. What belly buster epi weight should I be running? Stock spring, if anyone has their kit or knows Thanks

64's (EPI Belly Buster weights) work great in that range with a head and Carl's helix (black primary spring 140/330 which I believe is stock). 62's once you start getting much above 8,000 feet. Target rpm is 8200 per Carl's.

Have FUN!

If your running carls helix at that elevation you will use 60 gram epi or
10-60's go any higher than 9000 feet and you will have to drop to 58 grams. Good luck

With the Carl's helix the 60 gram bb weights work well to 10,000 ft. If you ride mainly 6-8k the 62 gram weights work good.

You guys running a head?! There is NO WAY you don't over rev with 60's or even 62's at 5-8,000 feet when running a head mod (need to run 2 grams MORE than stock peeps!!!). Pro likes some weight (especially heel loaded like the BB's the OP is USING!), when running mods.

Have FUN!

Thanks i just want to buy the right weight right out of the gate, i dont have enough to keep testing etc, i unload about 55-6000ft and hang around 8-9500 most the day. I am 190lbs with gear and would like to be close to or slightly overreving on the trails wide open untill i get up to 7-8-9 ish. I have the head on now, and will most likley get a can before snow. Thanks sounds like a 64 ground down to 63? Maybe over thinking this?

Best bet is to talk to a dealer or a buddy that may have a set of 64's you can try, I would guess you would be fine with 64's until you get about 8500ish elv. personally I would run 62 gram belly busters and look at doing a little different primary spring set up, and go from there. down at around 7k youll prob be running 8450ish rpm but I would rather have all the rpm I need when I get to where im going then having it on the trail.

Just my .02!

I'd run 62's then. You will bounce off the rev limiter when whacking the throttle down low but that's better than losing rpm's in a steep chute above 8,000'!
