aftermarket clutch springs wearing into the spider?

Hey guys on the primary clutch I understand there will be wear from the ends of the springs in the clutch, OK. but I had put in a venom performance pink spring in my sled and after ~1000 km I noticed just above where the spring is sitting its wearing into the spider as well.... I come to notice that its because the spring is actually a bit fatter right after the base's so as it compresses it rubs there, Anybody else have experience with that? is it OK?, I mean venom is/was team industries, so they aught to know about the springs they are making... Went to a lighter spring their Orange one and notice its also fatter just up from the ends which will continue that wear trend. Thanks!
